MAY 2026

Calvary Greetings Elysburg family and friends,

I’m humbled by the love that I receive from all of you and I greatly appreciate your commitment and in serving God. I’m grateful for various small groups like the food pantry outreach and Bible study, their efforts and sacrifices for this church and the community. God is counting on all of us for the progress of the church, let us continue working on our Sunday school mission initiatives.

There are two upcoming crucial events in our church: the North District Annual Conference on the 2nd of May and the Annual Conference to be held at Wildwood New Jersey on the 19th of May. It is important for us as a church to participate and learn what is happening in our church and where we are going.

I’m super excited to have started a Wednesday evening Bible study after your requests and we will do this both on Zoom and in-person.

With God nothing is impossible for us to grow Elysburg young adult ministry; I assure you it’s possible. I also appreciate your unwavering support that makes a significant impact in the lives of many. Let us continue to share our spiritual gifts in this faith journey. Together we can achieve great things. It is my prayer that the Holy Spirit continue to empower us and strengthen us to serve. Pray for the Church. Remember to pray for one another.

Peace,
Pastor Fortunate!

June Mission Collection

This year we will be collecting new and “like new” small sized stuffed animals (Beanie Baby or slightly larger) for our June mission, Father's Hope that was introduced in the April newsletter.

There will be a tote in the social hall in June for all donations.

For this year, the stuffed animal collection will replace our usual flip flop collection for Honduran Soles as they are reorganizing and won't be taking flip flop donations until next summer.
